What is RSS

RSS is a way to tell your favorite websites to let you know when they have new content. RSS also allows you to access this content on your own timetable. RSS does not clog up your email.

First, you pick an RSS Feed Reader. A couple of free and easy to use ones are Google Reader and Bloglines.

Second, when you see an RSS icon, click it. The page that comes up will give you everything you need to enable the content you want to come to you.

For a simple and quick video description of how RSS works, view the video at the bottom of this page.

President's Message

Nikhil L Shah, DO, MPH, Founder

The Men's Health & Wellness Center (MHWC) was founded as the fulfillment of a dream that I have had for quite some time to offer services to men with regard to prevention of disease and management of their current health and lifestyles. Our Center focuses on education, empowerment, and services that help men not only cope with their issues/ailments, but also allow men to live with dignity. Quality of life is extremely important for all of us as we age.

As men age, they may experience conditions such as low testosterone levels, heart and vascular disease, cancer, obesity, and bone-related injuries and illnesses. Good nutrition and regular exercise, stress reduction through yoga and meditation, and therapeutic massage can each play a vital role in helping men regain and maintain vitality, and achieve an emotional and spiritual sense of well-being.

We are dedicated to improving the health and well-being of every person who comes into contact with the MHWC. Through our educational programs, our heath expositions, our on-line forums, our support groups, or our counseling programs, we address the most difficult and sensitive subjects in a professional and supportive manner. All men, regardless of their current health status, are invited to join us in living life more fully.
