What is RSS

RSS is a way to tell your favorite websites to let you know when they have new content. RSS also allows you to access this content on your own timetable. RSS does not clog up your email.

First, you pick an RSS Feed Reader. A couple of free and easy to use ones are Google Reader and Bloglines.

Second, when you see an RSS icon, click it. The page that comes up will give you everything you need to enable the content you want to come to you.

For a simple and quick video description of how RSS works, view the video at the bottom of this page.

Our Community offers a number of ways to get the health and wellness information men need to educate and support lifestyle practices that lead to disease prevention, healing and healthy living.

Our Message Boards allow men and their partners to connect with others who have faced, or are facing, the same challenges. Dealing with a diagnosis can be overwhelming. Our community of men, spouses, partners and families at Men's Health & Wellness Center (MHWC) is there to offer peer group support in a confidential environment.

In our Ask the Experts section, we provide an opportunity to post questions to our healthcare experts. Men are often hesitant to discuss sensitive issues with their healthcare provider. This venue provides the comfort of anonymity with access to healthcare experts.

At MHWC, we want to provide the best health information, events, services and tools to empower men to live life fully. Our Health & Well Being Survey will be used to help us determine the state of men’s health and well being so that we can tailor our offerings to men's needs. When you complete the survey questions, we will provide you with your own personal Health and Well-being Score along with a percentile rating based on your score in comparison to other men who voluntarily completed the same survey.

The Health Assessment Tools are a compilation of the best online risk assessment tools. Knowing your risks can help you and your healthcare provider to determine when screening tests are appropriate and what preventative measures you can take to lower your risks.

The Links to Complimentary Sites are links to other credible, informative sites that provide additional health related information.

Our Community is open to all, regardless of physician or hospital affiliation. All personal information provided will be kept strictly confidential and we will never sell or give your information to any other organization for any reason.
